Module description
- Erosion supports generation of control-neutral NC records for wire erosion with 2 or 4 NC-axes.
- The generated NC code is to be implemented in the contour-specific format by a corresponding post-processor.
- Implementation essentially comprises generation of additional contour elements and contours. The user also must specify the order in which the contours to be eroded will be produced and make the connected technology decisions (starting point, start-up and lowering movements, fastening stops, destruction, offset…)
- An NC program is created by step-by-step processing of all contours. The individual functions of the erosion menu activated by this write the associated NC records into the working file at once.
